TASK 3

Task 3 is the blog itself. We used this as a presentation tool to save on making a separate powerpoint. This blog will consume of all the task needed to be completed, and a little background into how we came to some of our decision such as the team name, logo, idea etc. This was also a much more creative and different way of presenting our ideas instead of showing a normal boring powerpoint which can get repetitive.

TASK 2

On Friday 26th, we as a group came up with all the initial ideas to go forward on this Tenner Challenge. After finishing Task 1 of coming up with the name and the logo, we then started Task 2 on the same day. We as a group brainstormed and came up with 7 ideas, and then chose our main idea.

Our main idea that we came up with was having a cake sale. From this we did our research into costing of buying stock, and then selling them on. We found this of being the most effective decision because they're easy to move around, fairly cheap and also we could save money by using Charlie's store discount.






Our other ideas included having Victor perform a gig, a car wash, football tournament at goals, karaoke and bot sale. Seeing as these needed a lot more time and prep, we decided that the easiest option was to keep it simple and sell things we knew would sell instead of risking our start up fund.

TASK 1

Team Name:

For our team name we had a vote between us. We had 6 choices of names:
-Neecy Chandos
-Ballers
-G Man and Co.
-Cheeky Bitches
-Red Slammers and Co.
-Artful Dodgers
From these choices, Chris, Charlie, Bruce, G, Elleshia, Kim, Henry, Victor and myself (Mitchel) all had a vote. The voting went with G Man and Co. winning with 5 votes, then Neeky Chandos with 2, Red Slammers and Co. with 1 and the Artful Dodgers and Cheeky Bitches with no votes.

Team Logo:
Our logo is a picture with a man posing as Shia LaBoauf holding a cake. The saying of 'Just Do It' is from his inspirational speech of 2015. His speech is what inspired the group to go with him as the role model of whole thing, and the addition of the cake is because our main idea is selling cakes, cookies, doughnuts etc. which is shown in Task 2.
